Linc Hand, Veteran Actor and Edie Hand Foundation Board Member, attended the Birmingham Movie Premiere of
"42" The Jackie Robinson Story

The Hollywood debut of "42" took place on April 9th, and the the Birmingham, AL movie premiere of "42" was on Thursday April 11th at the Carmike Theater Cinema off Highway 280 at the Summit.

Friday Linc Hand visited Children’s of Alabama 1208 3rd Avenue South, Birmingham to Meet and Greet some of the children and hand out the specially prepared photo baseball cards showing Linc portraying the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher from the movie.

Linc will also announced the winner of the first Linc Hand Scholarship to a Corner High School theatre Major.  The scholarship is a way that Linc pays back the school and mentors who helped and encouraged him to pursue an acting career.

Farewell to Good Friends

Dr. Steven M. Roth was co-founder of The Vein Guys® and was dedicated to providing the best possible treatment and care for his patients. In the past year he became a good friend, business partner on various projects, and sponsor of many charitable activites that I and my Foundation are involved in.

Tragically on February 20th, Dr. Roth along with associates and co-workers Lisa Volpitto, Kimberly Davidson, Heidi McCorkle, and Tiffany Porter lost their lives when their plane overshot a runway when landing in Thomson, GA. - Read More

Independent recording artist, Robbie Rhodes “NEXT Christmas” album is now available for purchase and proceeds benefit the Edie Hand Foundation andSt. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Rhodes’ original song, “Let’s Play Jingle Bells,” and a new arrangement of “You’re All I Want for Christmas/This Year,” will be the first singles from the CD released to radio.  This stellar charity album also includes renditions of seasonal classics like, “O Holy Night,” “What Child is This” and “Do You Hear What I Hear?”  Robbie will play select tour dates across the country to support this release.

You Pave the Way is a program from the Edie Hand Foundation 501(c)(3),a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising aYou Pave The Way on Facebookwareness and money for children and special-needs children.
